Bid Information:
Sealed bids for the construction of Box and T-hangar Complex will be received by the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport Authority at the office of the Engineer located at 5746 Marlin Rd., Suite 102, Chattanooga, TN 37411 on August 6, 2025, until 2:00 p.m. local time, and immediately thereafter will be opened and publicly read.
The project consists of the construction of 1 box hangar building and 2 T-hangar buildings. The buildings are pre-engineered building systems and have vertical lift bifold doors. The occupation of the buildings will be Group III aircraft hangars for the storage of aircraft and have no doping, hot work, fuel transfer/storage or spray finishing operations permitted within. The end of one building will be finished out for a break area complete with bathroom facilities which are accessories to the S-1 Storage occupancy. The scope encompasses sitework, erosion control, drainage installation, pavement installation, connection of 6 edge lights, pavement markings, utility service connections, turfing and other related work as shown on the drawings and/or in the specifications.

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held July 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at 5746 Marlin Road, Suite 102, Chattanooga, TN 37411. A tour of the project site will be available following the meeting.
