Pre-Bid Information:
A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD ON OCTOBER 17, 2022, AT 9:00 A.M. AT THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT CONFERENCE ROOM LOCATED AT the MAYNARD C. STILES WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT, 2303 NORTH SECOND STREET, MEMPHIS, TN 38127 FOR THE PURPOSES OF DISCUSSING THE PROJECT. THE MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING MUST BE ATTENDED BY A PERSON EMPLOYED BY THAT COMPANY. THE NAME OF ANY INDIVIDUAL FALSELY SIGNING FOR ANOTHER COMPANY WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE LIST.
Site Examination:
Before submitting a bid, the bidder shall personally attend the mandatory pre-bid conference and visit the site of proposed work and arrive at a clear understanding of the conditions under which the work is to be performed. No consideration will be allowed subsequently by reason of error or oversight on the part of the bidder or on account of interference by either the City or existing conditions. Neglecting any of the above requirements will not be acceptable as reason for delay in the work or for adjustments of the contract sum. See attached figures in Section 00850.
