Addendum #1 – Revises Bid Date:
Deadline for receipt of Bids is 10:00 a.m. local time on Thursday, October 20, 2022. Bids will be received at the Warren County Purchasing Department, 913 Jackson Street, Vicksburg, MS 39183. Bidders are cautioned that the Purchasing Department does not receive the daily U.S. Mail on or before 10:00 a.m. Bids will be time-stamped upon receipt according to Purchasing Department’s time clock. Bids received after the stated deadline will not be considered. All bids properly received will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The Project includes the following Work:
Excavation and Earth fill along the Haining Road Levee and related items.
Bids are requested for the following Contract: Haining Road Levee Erosion Repairs. The Project has an expected duration of 120 days.
Pre-Bid Information:
A pre-bid conference will not be conducted for this Project.
Site Examination:
Bidder is not required to but may visit the Site during normal working hours and conduct a thorough visual examination of the Site and adjacent areas. During the visit the Bidder must not disturb any ongoing operations at the Site.
All access to the Site other than during a regularly scheduled Site visit must be coordinated through the following Owner or Engineer contact for visiting the Site: Kirk Morgan – 601-656-1121.
Interpretations & Addenda:
Engineer on its own initiative may issue Addenda to clarify, correct, supplement, or change the Bidding Documents.
Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows:- A. Ed Dedeaux – 601-214-6000 – ededeaux@allenhoshall.com
Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than 4 days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
Only responses set forth in an Addendum will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Responses to questions are not part of the Contract Documents unless set forth in an Addendum that expressly modifies or supplements the Contract
